Our Mandate

To promote the exchange of young workers and young people with Switzerland.  The program is helping Canadians develop new expertise while enjoying themselves in a fine cultural, linguistic and sportive environment. The trainee is benefiting the same work conditions as a Swiss resident.

Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada has negotiated agreements with several countries and has partnered with various organizations. Through these agreements and partnerships, Canadians can easily obtain a temporary work permit and gain professional and personal experience abroad.
